Another exercise finished for the Pet Portraits Diploma, a labrador in graphite pencil on watercolour paper. I find rendering the fur particularly difficult but I'm pleased with this piece.

I know this is an old post but I have just started to try to teach myself how to draw by drawing my black lab mix first. Do you have any tips for me such as a good tutorial online. I am literally and completely a beginner at any art form. Thank you.
